 Prior to founding the firm in 2008, Gandhar Savur spent years slugging it out in the underground music circuit, playing in underground and DIY venues across America and the UK. His past and present experiences as a touring musician and recording artist enable him to directly relate to artists and help them overcome the challenges they face navigating the music and media industries.  

 Prior to starting the law firm, Gandhar also co-founded an independent record label that has released over 200 records to date by eccentric, underground tastemakers (such as WILD YAKS, VERSUS, O’DEATH and SAVAK), as well as a music publishing company which publishes hundreds of acclaimed artists, such as THE MAGNETIC FIELDS, AGAINST ME!, and FUGAZI. 

 This extensive background in the formation, operations and management of startup companies has provided Gandhar with a complimentary skillset in small business and corporate law, enabling Gandhar to expand his practice to include all types of companies that exist within the music space.  Today, Savur Law is able to leverage this extensive experience in music, startups, corporate matters, entertainment and media to help guide clients and to protect their legal interests.  

 But aside from knowledge, skill, experience and credentials, ultimately it is his relationship with his clients that has led to the success of the practice, and has become the bedrock upon which the firm sits.
